1. taking the first thing

  1. A looks away from B.

  2. Observer says “A go!”

  3. A says the very first physical thing he notices (ex. “green sweater”)

  4. Observer catches A if he did not name the first thing

2. starting repetitions

  1. taking the first thing as above

  2. B repeats what A says

  3. A repeats what B says

  4. until observer says stop

3. putting into language

Put words into a sentence: “green sweater” -> “you are wearing a green sweater.”

4. truthful pov

  • change You into I

  • change repetition to make it truthful

  1. A to B: “You are wearing a grey shirt.” (but A wears a red shirt)

  2. B to A: “I am wearing a red shirt.” or “I am not wearing a red shirt”

5. three moment’s game pt1

  • A asks B provocative question

  • B immediately repeats provocative question

  • A articulates the observed (physical) behaviour with B (5-7 observations)

  • A tells B his conclusion: “and that made you feel …”

6. three moment’s game pt2

as pt1, except directly jumping to conclusion

7. continuous repetitions

  • three moment’s game pt2

  • B repeats conclusion -> starts a repetition

  • observer randomly starts new repetition inside repetition “A / B go!”

8. pinch & ouch

  • whoever starts, starts the repetition

  • both participants name also how they are hit / affected by what the other just said (ouch = reaction 1)

  • observer’s key task: get A & B to name only reaction 1 (on their side and their partner)
